Vino volando y se fue

En la noche de luna llena

Delirios trajo el rayo que a la luna hicieron temblar

De sombras y de luces vestía a los dioses alados

Ese rayo abrasador que derritió sus carnes

Llueve

Gotas gigantes

Gotas dulces en la mar salada

En la noche de luna llena

¡Ay, corazón atormentado!

No te fíes de tu canto

…………

He came flying and left

On the night of the full moon

Delusions brought the lightning that made the moon tremble

Of shadows and lights he clothed the winged gods

That scorching ray that melted their flesh

Rain

Giant drops

Sweet drops in the salty sea

On the night of the full moon

Oh, tormented heart!
